Clarks Island Donuts is a brand new, family-owned food truck that sells hot, fresh malasadas! We, the Clarks, are a born and raised Hawaiian family, and we love and live our culture everyday. Last summer, while visiting Hawaii, we decided that we HAD to bring a part of Hawaii back with us to share with Utah County, because everyone was missing out on all the amazing things Hawaii has to offer! And so, Clarks Island Donuts was born. Our malasadas are always fresh and ready to be enjoyed, and we really strive to bring a genuine taste straight from the islands! What is a Malasada?
A malasada is a Portuguese donut, without a hole, that was made popular by Hawaii. You can find them everywhere in Hawaii, but they aren't as common here in Utah! The malasadas that we make will all be rolled in either sugar, or cinnamon and sugar. You can also have them filled with different flavors of custards and creams.
